I remember when I first heard last year that Steven Spielberg was working on a new movie about UFOs. I was excited to put it mildly. There isn’t another director better at making films about the possibility of extraterrestrial encounters.
Turns out film is finally in production! Searching the web, I couldn’t find any information concerning the plot and that’s okay except that Spielberg is working with long time collaborator David Koepp. I hope it stays a mystery for as long as it can.

The untitled Steven Spielberg UFO movie in scheduled to hit theaters on May 15, 2026, with the cast including Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, and Wyatt Russell, among others.
