I recently fell in love with this American Cinematheque podcast. Well, maybe love is kinda dramatic. I like it a lot. Is that better? The format of learning a guest’s theater habits and preferences then letting them program their own film festival is pure genius and real catnip for a film nerd like myself.
Check out this recent episode with one of my favorite film nerds, Bill Hader. I always enjoy listening to him talk about movies. He has a really deep knowledge and appreciation for all sorts of cinema, from Die Hard to Béla Tarr, which I truly appreciate. And he’s funny as hell.
