As we get closer and closer to the premiere date for Godzilla Minus Zero, I’m trying to stay away from as much Godzilla press as possible, including my choice to not watch the final trailer. No more spoilers.
That said, my Godzilla meter is running low, so I was happy to find this making-of trailer for the latest short film for the next Godzilla Fest, Fest Godzilla II: Tokyo Disappears.
Even though these shorts are almost too short, anytime you can get some official Godzilla suit kaiju action, you take it. I’m excited to see the return of Burning Godzilla 2000 and Monster X!
This is a direct sequel to last year’s Godzilla short film Fest Godzilla II : Shinjuku Burning by director, writer, storyboarder, and editor Kazuhiro Nakagawa. He’s a one man army! In case you missed it, you watch the full Godzilla Fest 2025 short film below.
