Back in the day, Edgar Wright’s Spaced was my jam. I remember someone loaning me a bootleg DVD and feeling like I’d discovered the holy grail. I watched it endlessly and subjected everyone who knew me to frequent post-night-out viewings. The other night, I randomly popped it on and watched the entire first season.
Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jessica Stevenson (now Jessica Hynes), Mark Heap, Katy Carmichael, and Julia Deakin. They’re all just perfect. This club scene is one of my favorite segments because it really captures everything I love about these characters, this show, and how it felt to go out for the night in my 20s.
