If you’re a fan of great cinematography, then I’m sure you’ve run across the YouTube Channel TheBeautyOf. Check out this beautiful video montage featuring the stunning cinematography of Greig Fraser and Oren Soffer in Gareth Edwards‘ The Creator (2023).
In case you haven ‘t seen it, The Creator takes place in a world where war between humanity and AI has happened and an ex-special forces agent is sent to destroy a secret weapon developed by the machines. This weapon which turns out to be a child-like robot named Alphie. As Joshua goes on the run with her, his loyalties are put to the test and the true nature of the AI war comes into question.
Such a beautiful, imperfect film. It’s one of my favorites.
