I recently discovered DC Comics’ Doom Patrol. I’m only 4 episodes in and I am really enjoying the mess that it is. It’s dark, funny, crazy, crude, and full of heart. I’m hoping I still feel the same way about it by the end of season 1.
I love this opening theme by Clint Mansell & Kevin Kiner. It perfectly captures the haunted, heroic nature of the characters.
In case you are like me and missed the boat on this series, Doom Patrol is about a team of traumatized, super-powered outcasts who have gained their special abilities through some truly horrific accidents. The show is part support group and part superhero team.
Anyone else a fan of this show? I know there are 4 seasons, so no spoilers please.
