Love horror comics? Check out Nectar by NYT bestselling author Jeremy Robinson with art by Annapaola Martello and Francesco Francini. The story unfolds like some of my favorite creature features. It has a real Stephen King feel to it. Classic and comforting.
Set in 1837 in a village near Salem, Mass, the story is about a species of butterfly that feed on human blood spreading a “dancing plague” amongst the villagers.
Interesting, engaging characters, fast paced story, and full of fantastic horror visuals, I hope someone in Hollywood is taking notice as it would make a really fun series or movie.
Currently, at issue 3, I am eagerly awaiting issue 4. It’s been a while since I was chompin’ at the bit for a comic!
