Reggie Bannister needs our help. Awesome person and beloved star of the ‘Phantasm’ film series is facing chronic health issues and overwhelming financial burden.
I ran across this sad news on Gigi Bannister’s Facebook page.
Alongside his devoted wife Gigi, Reggie spent many weekends traveling to comic and horror conventions, meeting fans, signing autographs, and sharing his passion for entertainment. This has been their source of income for many years. Reggie’s health has taken a turn now he’s facing the challenges of Lewy Body dementia and Parkinson’s disease, which have led to his move into in-home hospice care.
Medical bills are mounting, and the cost of utilities and daily care is overwhelming. Gigi is doing everything she can to care for him at home, but she is now facing the very real fear of losing essential services, including the oxygen care that Reggie desperately needs.
