The third film in the Godzilla x Kong series has been officially titled Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. Behold, the Godzilla x Kong 3 now in-production teaser trailer.
It’s a Friday and I’ll take it. Any Godzilla news is good news to me.
Grant Sputore, known for the sci-fi film I Am Mother, is behind the camera as director for this Monsterverse sequel. The cast this time includes Dan Stevens, Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Matthew Modine, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Sam Neill.
I’m pretty happy that Stevens is returning and very excited to see Sam Neill on board. I wonder who Dr. Grant/Uncle Hec will play? Maybe Dan Steven’s Dad? I kinda hope he plays some version of his character “Hec,” from Hunt For The Wilderpeople, who lives alone in the Hollow Earth.
Production is underway in Queensland, Australia, with release date set for March 26, 2027.

After making this post I ran across this video, by a YouTube channel called DangerVille, detailing many of the Easter Eggs and details within the Godzilla X Kong Supernova teaser trailer. Oh man, I like the way they are thinking! Space Godzilla hints galore! Check it out!
