Check out the trailer for the latest Wes Anderson film The Phoenician Scheme.

The story follows one of Europe’s wealthiest men (and arms dealer?) who talks his daughter, a nun, into joining him in a high-stakes infrastructure project covering land and sea.

The title of the movie likely refers to the ancient Phoenicians, well known for their mastery of the sea vast trade networks across the Mediterranean.

The cast includes Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Benicio Del Toro, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Cera and many many more.

Personally, I move in waves with Wes Anderson. Sometimes I’m really in the mood and other times I need a bit of a break. Something about this trailer really hooked me though and I am as excited for this one as I haven’t been in quite a while.

  1. I find his movies fun enough. Perhaps I haven’t found my favourite one yet.

    1. What are you current Wes Anderson favorites? Life Aquatic and Grand Budapest Hotel are mine.
