Check out new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World starring Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie. Sam Wilson, aka Falcon, has officially taken up the mantle of Captain America and finds himself in the middle of an international incident.
When I was a kid growing up in the 80s, along with Spider Man and X-Men, Captain America was my favorite comic book series. Often, on Sundays, I could talk my parents in taking us to this crazy flea market near our house and spend an hour browsing through stacks and stacks of old issues. Looking for buried treasure.
My favorite issues were the ones where Captain America fought side-by-side with Falcon. Not sure why, but I loved the dynamic. To me, Anthony Mackie has been as a solid a Falcon as I could have ever imagined.
After the last several years of disappointing Marvel films, this is the first time in a while that I am excited to see a new Marvel movie.
