Check out the trailer for “The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store.” This animated film, based on a mange by Nishimura Tsuchika, tells the story of a concierge who works for a mysterious department store that’s frequented by rare animal customers. It has an old school feel to it that looks really good!
Directed by Yoshimi Itazu, Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass), The Concierge made its world premiere to positive reviews at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and its North American premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival.
The Concierge is Itazu’s feature filmmaking debut.
