I’ll say it again. Holy crap. Check out this official trailer for Weapons, directed by Zach Cregger.

The synopsis reads…. When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.

I haven’t felt this excited for a horror film in long time. It feels like something out of a Stephen King short story that Stephen King didn’t write!

Looks like it’s going to be a wild ride, but I think I’m down for it.

Weapons stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, Amy Madigan, and releases in theaters on August 8, 2025.

Just saw the trailer before seeing your post, yeah awesome. It doesn’t give away anything and teasing things to make you interested. Honestly I’ll probably never watch it just because I’ll probably never get around to it but it not because the trailer gave away the entire plot.

  I hear ya! That’s half the reason I share these trailers with the hopes I’ll remember the movie by the time it comes out.
