I’m currently watching the new Netflix series Asura, written (and directed?) by Hirokazu Koreeda. It is everything you could hope for in a Koreeda series. I love it.
I also love this opening theme song “Higher.”
I’ve been watching one episode in the mornings before work and I wake up with this song and montage in my head. It’s a good way to the start the day.
The show tells the story of four sisters who all lead very different lives and have very different outlooks on life and love. The show picks up after they find out their father has been having an affair.
Only one episode left to watch in the first season. It’s only 7 episodes in total and I am hopeful there is a second season on the way.
