The last 10 or 12 days we’ve been snowed in and I’ve been catching up on post apocalyptic TV. I plowed through Amazon’s ‘Fallout‘ season 1 and decided to switch over to Apple TV+’s ‘Silo‘ season 2. Trading one vault for another. I love that there are currently two shows running about end of the world vaults.
Anyway, I love both shows. They each have their own flavor.
I’m currently mid season 2 on Silo and can’t get Atli Örvarsson main theme song out of my head. It’s so good! Mystery. Dread. Wonder. Like wandering down a dark corridor with a torch hoping to find the answers to everything just around the corner….or something else unexpected.
Atli grew up in Iceland and went to Berklee College of Music. He’s known for dark and moody scores like the amazing soundtrack of ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters‘ (2019). A hypnotic blend of electronics and the orchestral with a dash of his Nordic influence.
