I love every track of Naoki Sato’s soundtrack for Godzilla Minus One. I can’t count how many times I’ve listened to it. When the soundtrack was first released this particular track, “Days,” was sadly absent.
It’s from one of my favorite moments during the movie, when Koichi and Noriko are starting to rebuild their lives, along with Japan.
I guess because it is so different from the rest of the album, perhaps they chose to not include it first time around. Thankfully they released this Godzilla Minus One Deluxe Edition of the soundtrack and it’s on there.
A soothing balm to say the least.
