Check out the lovely new trailer for a film called ‘H Is For Hawk‘ starring Claire Foy and Brendan Gleeson. After the sudden death of her father, a woman named Helen is consumed by grief and throws herself into the world of falconry by training a goshawk named Mabel.
Directed by three times Bafta winning TV and Film Director Philippa Lowthorpe, “H Is For Hawk” is based on a memoir by Helen Macdonald exploring themes of loss, nature, and healing. Looks like a good one.
The film should get a UK release in early 2026 with, I hope, a US release quickly afterward.
