I’ve been super busy getting ready for a work conference coming up, I wanted to share this in case you missed it! Check out the official teaser trailer for the new Netflix series ‘Last Man Standing.’ Set in 1878 Japan, 292 samurais the story gathers 292 samurais for a battle royale where the winner takes home a 100 billion yen prize.
I realize there are more than a few streaming shows with this “game show” format. Honestly, the only one I’ve watched is the first season of ‘Alice in Borderland.’ I somehow missed out on the ‘Squid Games‘ craze.
Anyway, the fighting, lighting, sets, and camera work looks excellent. Hopefully there is some good writing to back it all up.
Definitely excited to put this one in the ever growing Netflix queue to check out starting November 13th. The new samurai series stars Jun’ichi Okada (The Fable), Yumia Fujisaki (The Parades), and Kaya Kiyohara (Josee, the Tiger and the Fish).
