Much like the recent Christopher Reeve documentary, I know this is gonna be a tough watch with plenty of bittersweet moments. I’m glad to see that John Candy’s kids are co-producers and the entire production has the blessing of the Candy family.
There are so many classic John Candy movies. Plains, Trains, and Automobiles. Uncle Buck. The Great Outdoors. Summer Rental. I miss his brand of humor on screen and the sweetness he brought to every role.
I often wonder what he would have to say about the world today and what sort of films he would be making.
