I’ve always been fascinated by Kojima’s games. Grew up playing the frustrating but fun Metal Gear series. Death Stranding has always looked fascinating to me. Just never had a chance to play it. I have a Mac and an Xbox, but I might have to go cloud gaming on the series as this trailer looks absolutely mind blowing.

Kojima’s casting is perfect. Norman Reedus, Elle Fanning, Léa Seydoux. The visuals and the music are haunting and surreal. I also love a good walking simulator and Death Stranding 2 looks to be walking simulator Valhalla.

I’ve played the opening part, so I could deliver the first package on PS5. But then other games took my attention. I’m planning to get back into it at some point. This looks amazing and the atmosphere is very unique. For me, that also means my mood needs to be just right.

  I just started playing the first one this week and it’s absolutely the kind of game you have to be in the right mood for. I’ve enjoyed sorta vegging out and playing it after a long day at work. It’s like taking part in a dream and one I can imagine I’m in no rush to finish and can come and go with it over time.
