Allright! The teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four has arrived! I’m pretty surprised by how good this looks. Maybe Marvel is going to find it’s stride again with this series?

I like the 1960s inspired setting. It gives the whole production an edge and room to grow.

All the key players look well cast – Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).

We even get a teaser of a classic Marvel villain in the trailer. I think I’m on board.

I must be in the minority as I saw the retro uniforms and wondered if this was a parody. Setting in the 60s (is that confirmed?) takes a bit of that stigma from it but after three attempts to bring this franchise alive, this has to be the last time, surely…

  Not sure if it’s confirmed. I was never a FF kid growing up. I was more into X-Men, so really I’m not too well versed on the whole FF storylines and have no baggage. I did attempt to sit through the 3 previous attempts and quickly lost interest. I guess my point is, I have low expectations so hopefully I’ll enjoy this round.
