Back again with another flip through a Toho SFX Movie Authentic Visual Visual Book. This time we’re looking at Volume 11 which has images from one of my top 5 favorite Godzilla movies, Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.

I love everything about his film. You have Godzilla, Baragon, Mothra, and King Ghidorah all in one film, supernatural prophecies, a sweet Father/Daughter storyline, and more.

I love the possessed look of Godzilla. It’s a great way to make Godzilla a sympathetic villain.

Like all of the books I’ve read bought in this Toho SFX series, there is very minimal information inside allowing for full page photos from the production. There is something about the colors in this one that is burned into my childhood memories. These pictures take me to my happy place.

This 32 page book focuses heavily on the Godzilla versus Baragon battle. It’s one of my favorite fights in Godzilla history as it maintains a level of seriousness and peril while also keeping the campy humor intact. The behind the scene photos give you a good look at the beautiful set design and the detailed textures of both monster suits.

If you’re a fan of Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack, you’d likely enjoy this cool little photo book.

    1. Yeah I had never heard of them either and just stumbled onto them while browsing the Godzilla.com website! At only $15 a book, I’ve amassed quite a collection.

    1. Man, that is awesome! I’m jealous! Yeah it really is my favorite go to Godzilla movie. Would love to meet some of the cast some day. Wish they would be at a con somewhere around Kentucky.
