Gareth Edward’s The Creator was one of my favorite films in the past several years and this track, She’s Not Real, from the Hanz Zimmer soundtrack, is one that I find myself returning to again and again.
It feels like you’re looking inside or looking back with time running out. There is a deep sense of melancholy which perfectly supports the many themes of life and illusion that run throughout the story of the film. What is life? How long will it last? What makes someone a “real” person? Is this all a dream?
