It’s always a good day to learn that there’s a new Hilda graphic novel out! The latest offering from illustrator and cartoonist Luke Pearson is called Hilda and Twig Hide From The Rain. It’s short and sweet and just what I needed right now.
“Hilda and Twig would never let a bit of rain get in the way of an adventure, but it’s different when your forest exploration is interrupted by a BIG storm. Sheltering in a mysterious mound in the earth, Twig quickly realises that trouble is afoot, and that his best blue-haired friend is in danger. This is the 6th book in the ongoing Hilda series Are they graphic novels or comics? I’m not sure what the official designation is. I can say that they are enjoyable for all ages and always leave me feeling better about the human race.
