Based on the legendary manga by Junji Ito, Uzumaki: Spiral Into Horror is anime adaption telling the story of a town that slowly goes insane over an increasing obsession with spiral shapes: patterns in the clouds, everyday objects, hair, insects, skin.
With a career that spans over 30 years at this point, Junji Ito’s work is always horrific and this manga in particular is incredible. Based on this trailer, they’ve managed to capture the look and feel perfectly. I can’t wait to give this new series on Adult Swim a watch!
