Not sure how I came across this trailer for the 2023 Mexican film “Radical” but the film sure flew under my radar.
Written and directed by Christopher Zalla and apparently based on a 2013 article in Wired, Radical is the story of a teacher in a violent, corrupt Mexican border town who tries a radical new method of teaching to unlock his students’ curiosity and potential.
The trailer looks great and the film took home the Festival Favorite Award at Sundance.
