I love everything about the look and feel of this trailer for the upcoming film ‘Cottontail.” I’m also a big fan of Lily Franky since I took real notice of him in Shoplifters.
Directed by Patrick Dickinson and starring Ciarán Hinds, Lily Franky, and Thomas Coombes, the film tells the story of a widower from Japan who travels with his estranged son to England in order to fulfill his late wife’s dying wish.
More and more, I find myself drawn to films about people and cultures trying to connect. It helps me feel hopeful about the future of humanity and helps me strengthen the connections with people in my own life.
