A24 how do you do it? You keep putting out films that are unlike almost any other American films these days. Case in point, check out the trailer for “Janet Planet,” starring Zoe Ziegler and June Walker Grossman.

‘Janet Planet’ tells the story of 11-year-old Lacy who spends the summer of 1991 at home, enthralled by her own imagination and the attention of her Mom, Janet. As the months pass, three people enter their lives, all in love with Janet.

So much real human connection comes across in this short trailer. It just looks so good. Putting this one on my must-see list.
