So I have to admit that this new Godzilla X Kong The New Empire trailer made me laugh and smile. It’s such an incredible tone shift from the current Toho incarnation of Godzilla that it’s hard for me to accept at first.
It’s growing on me though.
It made me remember that my love for Godzilla did begin way way back when Godzilla used to dance a jig and or shake hands with other monsters. (sure, Jet Jaguar isn’t really a monster but you get what I mean)
I forget that sometimes.
Anyway, I’m hungry for new Godzilla content. The world is a big enough place for all of these visions of Godzilla to live and exist. I’m happy it continues to thrive and grow, even if it isn’t always what I think I want to see.
I guess I’m finally starting to get excited for this new movie. How about you?
